Ryan’s NFL Picks (2020): Wildcard Picks

BAM! Knocked week seventeen out of the park. Only those damn Dolphins let me down! Let’s take that momentum into the playoffs.

Overall Record: 169-86
Record: 15-1

Ryan’s NFL Picks (2020): Wildcard Picks

Indianapolis Colts @ Buffalo Bills: Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills are red, red hot. There are people (fools) out there who think (choose to believe) that Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills can take the AFC away from Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs. Obviously, I don’t agree with them. However, I do think they’ll get a chance to try. Bills win in a relatively one-sided wild card opener.

Los Angeles Rams @ Seattle Seahawks: Seattle Seahawks

I’m not sure that the Seattle Seahawks aren’t my pick for the NFC. Obviously, they have some things to figure out, especially on the defensive side of the ball, but when they get hot, there’s nobody better in the NFC. In any event, the Rams are limping into the post-season, and Seattle ain’t Arizona. Hawks advance to the divisional round.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Washington Football Team*: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Washington Football Team only made the playoffs because the despicable Philadelphia Eagles and that overrated punk Doug Pederson threw the game. I hope Tampa boatraces Washington and Doug Pederson gets fired. Disgusting. Ball don’t lie, Bucs demolish FedEx Field.

Baltimore Ravens @ Tennessee Titans: Tennessee Titans

It’s hard to beat a team two times in a row. It’s even harder to beat them three times. I guess I just don’t trust Baltimore. They haven’t really put together an impressive win in quite some time. They’ve had a questionable win versus Cleveland and blowouts against bad teams between now and a stretch that saw them lose four of five.

Chicago Bears @ New Orleans Saints: New Orleans Saints

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bears pulled this one out. Their offense is streaky, and they might be able to put something together and actually upset the Saints at home. However, I trust the Saints more. It’s not like they’re playing Minnesota.

Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers: Pittsburgh Steelers

I wanted to pick Cleveland so, so badly. I’m an honorary member of the Dawg Pound as my Raiders let me down yet again, and I’ll be pulling for them, but here’s an advantage Pittsburgh has. These two teams just played, and while Cleveland was bringing their A-game, Pittsburgh rested most of their starters. Not only did Pittsburgh almost win, but they got a healthy helping of fresh film. At home, well rested, with a veritable cheat sheet on film? You’ve gotta pick the Steelers… Go Browns.
